A RT Clinical Inventory QC specialist is responsible for making sure that the equipment meets a set of test standards before being released into the field.
Their duties include examining shipments of returned equipment and helping PM access.
Additional duties include the monitoring of the refurbishment process as equipment moves from PM1 to LAF.
Works with PM Department & Warehouse receiving to sort equipment that comes in from the field on a daily basis
Advise on RMA activities and provide technical assistance where needed.
Assist with testing equipment.
Maintains contacts with important vendors about equipment updates and changes; coordinates vendor technical visits and training
Work with RT trainer to improve & update the RT training program; includes inventory monitoring activities.
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Physical Demands:
Sitting, standing, walking at desk, in office
Operation of office machinery and computer
Occasionally lift/move items up to 50 pounds
Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
Qualifications:
RT Certification – 3-5 years RT field experience
Bonafide/ERP experience preferred
Proficient in Office 365 (excel) and Smartsheet applications.
Knowledge and understanding of medical respiratory equipment and tools utilized to repair such equipment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
Effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
